Effective Messages - Asking the Right Questions

With the start of 2014, it is a good idea to review your company messages. Whether you are an established company or just starting out, you need compelling messages to connect with and generate action by your target audience. Here are a few questions to help you develop and test your messages. The answers to these questions need to be front and center in your marketing campaign and communications.

How do your products and services solve customer problems and improve their situation?

What are the specific reasons customers choose to work with your company?

What are your customers saying about you?

Who is your target audience?

What are your guiding principles and beliefs?

What are the specific benefits of your products and services?

How are your products, services, and expertise unique and different from competitive offerings?

Why should customers buy from you and not the competition?

Start off 2014 with effective messages.

Happy New Year!

Your Digital Presence and Branding

Good branding is the starting point to an effective digital marketing campaign.

Have you created a strong brand? What makes up your brand? What are your key messages and visuals? What is your company story? How do you want to be perceived by your customers today? How are you perceived?

Think about strong brands like Nike and Apple. What comes to mind?

It takes thought and effort to build a strong brand. This step is often skipped over or rushed by organizations. Most effort is put into setting up frameworks and publishing content on the digital media channels.

Take time now, the first quarter of 2013, to focus on your brand.
